The Trails and Open Space Coalition is excited to join the Mayor’s Community Cleanup in Wildflower Park and along the Sand Creek Trail!
The group will be cleaning up along 2 miles of the Sand Creek Trail from Wildflower Park to Chelton Road to the south and Airport Road to the north.
Parking will be in the Wildflower Park parking lot and the surrounding neighborhood. Please carpool or bike if possible. Overflow parking is available at Wildflower Elementary School.
What to Bring & Wear:
–Bring plenty of water to stay hydrated
-Be prepared for any weather – sun, wind, or even a surprise shower
-Wear closed-toe shoes and pants for safety (shorts will not be permitted)
–Gloves are required (bring your own if you can)
-Sunscreen, a hat and layers are also a good idea
