Creek Week Cleanup
Join the Fountain Creek Watershed District for Creek Week, Colorado’s largest watershed wide cleanup! From September 26 through October 4, volunteers will clean up litter at creeks, trails, parks, and open spaces throughout the Fountain Creek Watershed, from Palmer Lake to Pueblo.
Want to volunteer? Sign up as a Crew Member and join an existing cleanup. No planning or experience is required, and cleanup supplies are available at no cost.
Important dates:
- Crew Leader registration: Deadline September 16 at 9 PM
- Crew Member registration: Deadline October 4 at 8 PM
- Cleanup dates: September 26 through October 4
- Cleanup locations: Throughout the Fountain Creek Watershed, including Colorado Springs, Fountain, Manitou Springs, Monument, Palmer Lake, Pueblo and surrounding communities.
Individuals, families, schools, clubs, neighborhood groups, and other organizations are welcome to participate.
Closed toe shoes are required. Gloves, trash bags, buckets, and grabbers are helpful. Supplies are also available from the Fountain Creek Watershed District at no cost.
